Making Averages in Excel
In Excel, the average is calculated with the formula Average(reference1:reference2, reference3, ...)
The formula is enterered the same way as previously described. You can select an array just a row or a column.
See how the separation are made.
To make an array, type Reference1:Reference2
To average various values, separate them with comma.
You can go for quite complex formulas as the exemple in the previous page with the sum. For example sum of A1+10*A2+100*A3...
